Our specially designed canine hydrotherapy pool is one of the largest in the country at 28ft x 10ft x 4ft deep. With two water jets we can offer static swimming against the jets however, we try to encourage dogs to swim freely for toys and other motivation. A member of our team is in the water at all times with each dog enabling us to build rapport and gain trust.

 

With a walkway that surrounds the pool owners are able to view their dog from every angle, allowing greater interaction during the sessions.

Entrance to the pool is via a purpose built network of shallow, non slip, ramps to make it easy for all dogs to get in and out without the use of a mechanical hoist.

 

We have shower and drying facilities to ensure all dogs go home clean, dry and comfortable.  

The pool is heated to 28-30°C enabling the dogs to get maximum benefit from their time in the water. The pool is sanitised to commercial swimming pool standards and water chemical balance is checked 2-3 times daily.

All dogs are fitted with buoyancy aids to swim in, and we can offer a wide selection of toys to suit all dogs’ tastes.
